Existing client Intercare Managed Healthcare reached out to us once again to facilitate the renovation of one of their biggest assets in terms of square meterage and occupation.
37 individual rooms, two large waiting areas, two passages and 31 doors meant that this job would have to be meticulously planned and executed systematically. After a period of planning between us and their in house project team we were given a 10 day window between 8 June 2026 and 19 June 2026 to complete the project.
Our commitment to zero disruption of day to day operations meant that we started work every day at 18h00 and left a clean organised site at 02h00 every morning. This was achieved by managing dust and acces throughout the building by hanging dust curtains and covering every surface with plastic. As the team likes to say to each other “if you cover it you don’t have to clean it”. Hanging dust curtains and only working in dedicated areas every day allowed us to break the job into smaller more manageable pieces. It also allowed us to focus in areas to ensure every day a new section or phase was completed without compromising the clinical conditions of the whole facility.
It took the team 7 seven shifts to complete the job and we ended the project with a mere 3 items on the snags list. A fact that our entire team is extremely proud of.
